Getting your files onto CloudFam is the first step to monetizing your content. Because creators source their files differently, we provide flexible upload methods to suit your specific workflow.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use our two primary web-based upload methods: standard Drag & Drop and Remote Upload.
If the file you want to upload is already saved on your computer or mobile device, the standard web upload is the fastest way to get it onto your dashboard.
Log in to your CloudFam account. You will land on the Upload Files page by default. (If you are on another page, simply click "Upload Files" at the top of the left-hand menu).
Locate the large upload zone in the center of the screen.

To Drag & Drop: Click and drag the file from your computer's folder and drop it directly into the designated "Drop files here" area on your browser screen.
To Browse: Alternatively, click the Browse Files button to open your device's file manager, select the file(s) you wish to upload, and click "Open."
Your file will immediately begin uploading. Wait for the progress bar to reach 100% and confirm the successful upload.
Once complete, you can find your file and its shareable download link in the My Files section.

Remote Upload is a powerful feature designed to save you time and local bandwidth. If the file you want to host is currently located on another website or server, you do not need to download it to your computer first. CloudFam can fetch it directly from the source URL.
Navigate to the Upload Files page on your CloudFam dashboard.
Look to the top right corner of the dashboard area and click the Remote Upload button.

A prompt or modal will appear asking for the file's source URL.
Paste the direct download link of the file you want to transfer to your CloudFam account. (Note: This must be a direct link to the file itself, not a link to a webpage containing the file).
Confirm the upload. CloudFam's servers will instantly begin downloading the file directly from the source link to your account.
Once the transfer is complete, the file will appear in your My Files catalog, ready to be shared and monetized.
