As a publisher, having enough space to host your content is crucial. CloudFam provides generous storage allocations to ensure you can build a comprehensive file catalog without constantly worrying about running out of room.
However, keeping an eye on your storage limits is an important part of managing your account. Here is how to track your storage capacity and understand your limits.
You don't need to dig through complicated settings to find your storage information. A real-time overview of your capacity is permanently pinned to your dashboard.
Look at the bottom left corner of your screen, located at the very bottom of the main navigation sidebar.
You will see a dedicated Storage box that updates automatically as you upload or delete files.

The storage widget provides three key pieces of information to help you manage your space at a glance:
Capacity Percentage: A quick visual progress bar and percentage indicator (e.g., 44%). This tells you exactly how close you are to reaching your maximum limit.
Used Storage: Below the progress bar on the left side, you will see the exact amount of data your active files are currently consuming (e.g., 344.51 GB used).
Total Allocation: On the right side, you will see your maximum allowed storage limit (e.g., 790 GB).
If you notice your capacity percentage creeping too close to 100%, you will need to free up space to continue uploading new content.
Audit Your Catalog: Navigate to the My Files section and sort your files by "Downloads." Consider deleting older files that are no longer generating traffic or revenue to make room for fresh content.
Check Your Trash: Remember that when you delete a file, it moves to the Trash bin for 30 days before it is permanently erased. If you urgently need to free up storage space, go to your Trash folder and permanently delete the items there.
By regularly monitoring this widget and cleaning out underperforming files, you can easily maintain a healthy and profitable file catalog!
